Hushtones, Liverpool’s hottest indie pop band, are back with their summery new single ‘Wild’.

The first single from the upcoming album, Greetings From The Other Side, ‘Wild’ is available to stream now. The track is a massively catchy and energetic mix of classic pop, rock and modern indie- it’s a bit of an instant classic really.

‘Wild’ is short and powerful, it’s one of those special tracks that are all-encompassing, completely enveloping you into Hushtones’ world and throwing you back out into reality in a neat three minutes.

It’s the perfect accompaniment for that soon-to-be rule of six outdoor hang, beach days and summery road trips we hope Boris will let us have. The strong 70s vibe of the track, the beautiful blend of multiple vocalists and lush melodies really give us a modern Fleetwood Mac energy, but make it scouse and 2021. Throw in a dash of Sunflower Bean, Black Honey and Hushtones’ massive talent, and you’ve got a winner.

Opening with a powerful call of ‘You!’ makes ‘Wild’ feel infinitely personal. It is a call out to make sure we don’t lose sight of ourselves and it’s a love letter to living life to the fullest.

Living wild is all we can dream of in a time where wild is popping to the big Tesco and Little Moons being back in stock or trying out a TikTok recipe that actually works. ‘Wild’ is a cry from us all for our own future, the huge chants in the chorus resonate deep for us all living as carefully as we can whilst existing on a knife’s edge. All this culminating into a shimmering breakdown make ‘Wild’ an unforgettable banger for the days of freedom we crave.

Fronted by song writing powerhouse Martha Goddard and Mick Campbell, alongside Caitlin McPaul on bass and backing vocals, Joe Dillon, guitar and backing vocals, and Abraham Tesfachristos on drums, Hushtones are constantly on the up.

The band managed to work around all the restrictions in the UK over the last year, earned a feature on BBC News focusing on their innovative ways to keep collaborating, and dropped the fantastic On Bricks EP, featuring a few of their favourite tracks reimagined, to great acclaim.

Keep an eye out for news on their debut record, Greetings From The Other Side, coming soon.

You can stream ‘Wild’ everywhere now.
