Hiya! Welcome to another edition of the long running Liner Notes series. It’s the bloody month of July, and suddenly we’re right in the closing half of the year. Mental. Right now I’m currently writing in a bedroom that’s registered at a definite temperature of a billion degrees, and am steadily melting into a puddle of nothing. I did however go out drinking last night so I think the heat + the mix of eating a toastie whilst watching Queer Eye is actually helping, so I can’t complain too much.
Anyway! Just letting you know that NEXT MONTH is going to be the second birthday of Sounds Good! This means that I have to start becoming a dick and chase some of those who said they’d be up for recording a little birthday message for the blog for this stupendous big-ass video I’m planning to do for it. IF YOU’RE READING THIS it’s not too late, but I will probably slide in your DMs and ask you to make a video of yourself. This definitely sounds way creepy.
ALSO. I have two weeks off from work starting next week which I’m dead excited for. In that first week I will be away in the Lake District and Edinburgh so I will probably not be as active on the Twitters as I am usually BUT I am most likely going to be writing a whole bunch of content so it makes it seem like I haven’t disappeared at all. Nothing at all, nothing at all, nothing at all! Simpsons reference.
So yeah, that’s about it really. I don’t really have much else to say – although I must mention that the support shown over the tweet I made with regards to the extortionate prices SOME PR companies charge artists was dead cool. Everyone I’ve met through music blogging are wonderful people and I feel together we can squash out the not-so wonderful people and make the world of “fuck me this song is good” even better. Love you.
